This month of May 2023 we celebrated an important milestone by reaching the 1000 students target, for the project: Promoting peace through the constructive use of social media platforms. We also had the opportunity to establish partnerships with schools hosting internally displaced children most of whom are orphans for the ‘operation educate 5000 needy children’. The school authorities most of whom were very accommodative worked with us to come up with a data base of needy children who had difficulties paying fees. This to make sure funds raised for fees are paid directly into the coffers of these schools by so doing reducing any form of misappropriation.

The campaign which started off in the month of February 2023 covered the localities of  Mbalgong , Elumdem and Soa  in the Center region of Cameroon. The training covered educative talks on topics such as; leading with your online presence, capitalizing on social media opportunities and the dangers of its misuse.  Students with a record of peacefully co habiting with their classmates were handed the ORAS founders peace price through a nomination process.
