Peace is indispensable for the development of communities.
Peace begins with a smile…
Mother Teresa

Our arts for Peace
Our Arts for Peace program which includes Craft work is designed for children and women and targets their Mental Health. It unites those who have been exposed to the trauma of war, lost loved ones, or had their homes burnt down. This is when we bring children and women together to do crafts and play with toys so they can have fun and laugh and heal from their pain. The women engage in activities like beading, soap making, lotion formulation, cooking. This is part of our therapy for healing, forgiveness and moving on.

Mothers are often the primary caregivers and know what their families need most to succeed. Our programs are designed in true partnership with the mothers, encouraging them to participate in defining benefits and services for their children.
